The conversation around "Back The Blue" is a great opportunity for Republicans to talk about how destructive Democrat "rule" is and how the Democrats are using police as the scapegoat for their own failed governing philosophy.  It's also a time for Republicans to talk about the proper role of Government itself, and how the powers of the police can be, as George Washington said of government, "a dangerous servant and a fearful master."

Free market capitalism is a vastly better concept around which to organize a society than socialism, which is really just centralized government control.  Each individual has the power in a capitalistic system and their incentives are to serve their fellow man, where socialism gives all of the power to a parasitic political class with an incentive to avoid accountability.
